What's the Certified Copy Center?
The Certified Copy Center is the system used by the Patent and Trademark Copy Fulfillment Branch (PTCFB) to distribute certified copies and uncertified copies of published patent and unpublished patent and trademark documents for official and personal use. The PTCFB is attesting that documents are true copies of records from the agency. Authentic certified copies have a gold seal and signature of an authorized USPTO certifying officer. What is entitlement verification?
I want to order unpublished documents, but what is the entitlement verification verses ordering?
Entitlement verification allows you to order unpublished documents online by uploading the proper documentation, such as a power to inspect or a power of attorney for the requested record. To order the requested documents, you must have an approved request. After entitlement approval, you will then have 72 hours to pay for your requested documents.
